Welcome to our home on the web.  The Hartford United Methodist Church would like to welcome you home.  Whether you're an old friend, or a visitor, every one is always welcome here.  We have been ministering our community since 1854, and will be here until God calls all of us home.

The people of the Hartford United Methodist Church believe that we should always be servants to our community, as well as to God.  Ours doors are always open to anyone in need.  Our food pantry is well stocked, and we don't judge people by how they dress, how they look, or how they talk.   

Our services are Christian casual, and we challenge our people to always be a friend.  Visit one of our services, stay for coffee hour,  and see how many people shake your hand, and ask your name.   As a progressive, fast growing church, we're always looking for new additions to our diverse group, and we think you will enjoy your experience.

Hartford United Methodist Church Mission Statement

     It is our mission to follow the Holy Spirit through prayer, and our growing knowledge of the Holy Scriptures, in creating a ministry that draws others into a dependence upon Christ's saving grace, and a lifestyle that is both obedient and pleasing to God.

     As a means to this end, we as individuals and as a congregation, will engage in evangelism, teaching, missions, and service to those in need, so that others will both hear of, and experience the grace of Christ.

    Further, we also recognize the need to join with other congregations of like missions to establish any or all of these ministries.
